Last week I started a Space Microbes Coloring pdf saga. The first one was the fungus Aspergillus niger sneaking into the ISS (International Space Station). Now it is time for Bacillus subtilis to stick to a rocket and go on a Space Adventure!

B. subtilis is one of the main model microorganisms in space microbiology. It was found aboard MIR and the ISS, and it is studied in many laboratories around the world, exposing it to simulated space conditions. It’s secret? The ability to sporulate! Turning into a spore allows it to survive a space trip, resisting sterilization, UV radiation, vacuum, and more!
